Abstract
AIM: To assess the efficacy of non-surgical methods of combined with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine on severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), guided by the theory of febrile disease.
METHODS: The inherent factors and characteristics of successful treatment of severe acute pancreatitis were analyzed by reviewing its three-stage treatment with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.
RESULTS: Along with constant improvements after treatment with traditional Chinese and Western medicine, the success rate of non-surgical treatment for severe acute pancreatitis has increased. The mortality rate has decreased significantly in the three stages (40 ......
