总之，在过去的年代里，现代麻醉学在其理论、技术、药物和设备等方面都取得了长足的发展。相信在新的世纪里，麻醉学将在临床麻醉、疼痛治疗、急救复苏和重症治疗中取得更大的突破，为保证病人安全无痛苦的接受检查、治疗和恢复，减少危重病人的并发症，提高其生存率，作出重要的贡献。
