摘 要：人类基因组计划不仅推动了基因组学的飞速发展，也为生物技术产业、制药工业以及农、化、食品工业提供新的方向和动力。目前的基因组学研究主要是集中力量获取最基本的信息——人类基因组的全部结构与序列。随着功能基因组的研究与基因多态性的发现，基因组学将向其成果的开发和应用方面发展。基因组学研究的新飞跃有赖于资金的集中与企业界的投入。成亿美元的资金投入必将开拓基因组学的光明未来，对生物技术产业及生物相关工业的发展产生深远的影响。
