Abstract
AIM To compare the metastatic potentials between two human colorectal carcinoma cell lines and to study their features related to metastasis.
METHODS Experimental metastatic potentials of two human colorectal carcinoma (HCC) cell lines, HT29 and LoVo, were compared by using nude mice model of HCC liver metastasis. The expressions of Ecadherin, LNR and type Ⅳ collagenase (Ⅳ col) of these HCC cell lines in vitro were observed quantitatively. The cells expressing CD44V6 in mRNA and protein were detected by in vitro hybridization and immunohistochemistry. ......
