Abstract
AIM To study the relationship between the expression of apoptosis-related antigens in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues and the localization of apoptotic cancer cells.
METHODS Fas, Bax, Ice and Bcl-2 immunohistochemistry and in situ end labeling (ISEL) were performed in 30 cases of HCC (during laporotomy). Cells confirmed as apoptosis were ISEL (+) and had typical apoptosis morphology (HE). ......
