Gold immunochromatographic assay for anti-Helicobacter pylori antibody

Abstract
AIM To develop a rapid, simple and self-performing gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA) for the detection of anti-cytotoxin associated gene A(CagA) protein of Helicobacter pylori in sera.
METHODS With prepared GICA apparatus and colloidal gold which were coupled with protein A(SPA), the gold-SPA conjugate reacted with human IgG in serum and migrated along the nitrocellose strip on which the CagA was immobilized. If the serum contained anti-CagA IgG, there would be a red line on the strip where the CagA was immobilized. ......
