Abstract
AIM To investigate the growth regulation and postreceptor signal transduction of gastrin on human colon cancer cell line.
METHODS Poorly-differentiated CloneA cells of human colon carcinoma were treated with different concentrations of gastrin and the growth status was observed. Intracellular 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) and cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) were extracted, their concentrations were measured by liquid scintillation technique and gamma scintillation counter respectively. Intracellular free calcium concentration was detected by loading Fura-2 and fluorescent technique. ......
