    Abstract

    AIM To investigate effects of nitric oxide on esophageal motility disturbance in patients with diabetes mellitus.

    METHODS Parameters including LES pressures (LESP), LES length (LESL), the distal esophageal peristalsis amplitude were determined by using PC polygraf HR manometry testing system; 24-hour esophageal pH monitoring were studied by Digitrapper MKⅢ ambulant monitor; and concentration of NO in serum was measured. ......
