    Abstract

    AIM To investigate the relationship between expression of Bcl₂/Bax and HDV infection, and its role in hepatocyte apoptosis in tupaia.

    METHODS HDAg, Bcl₂, Bax and apoptosis were determined in 45 liver tissue specimens of tupaia with HDV infection by immunohistochemistry, in situ end-labeling and immunohistochemical double-labeling techniques. ......
