Quantitative PCR detection of HBV-DNA in patients with chronic hepatitis B and its significance

Abstract
AIM To understand the viral quantity of chronic hepatitis B patients with positive e antigen and positive anti-HBe and the relationship between the different pathological change levels of chronic hepatitis B and HBV quantity infected.HBV-M was detected by ELISA in 89 chronic hepatitis B patients. Thirty HBeAg(+)/HBeAb(-) sera and 30 HBeAg(-)/HBeAb(+) sera were selected from ELISA results. Their HBV-DNA quantities were determined using AmpliSensor PCR quantitative method. Serum level of ALT was detected using full automatic biochemical analysis. The HBV-DNA quantity and serum ALT level of each group was calculated by calculating the arithmetic mean value. ......
