    Abstract

    AIM:To explore the underlying pathophysiologic mechanisms for the facts that patients with digestive tract symptoms do not necessarily have gastric mucosa pathology and vice versa.

    METHODS:Ultrastructural changes, trace elements, and cAMP were detected in gastric mucosa of 188 patients without organic lesions in heart, lung, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidney and intestine, and in patients without obvious symptoms (F) synchronously by SEM, EDAX.
