    AbstractAIM: To establish a model of gastric mucosal injury induced with a low dose of aspirin, and to investigate whether the expression of ICAM-1 in rat gastric mucosal cells participated in the pathogenic mechanism of gastric mucosal injury.

    METHODS:A model of gastric mucosal injury with aspirin (5.021 mg/kg) was established. The changes of gastric mucosal injury was observed. Expression of ICAM-1 protein of the gastric mucosal cells in SD rats was detected by immunohistochemistry. ......
