AbstractAIM:To study the inhibitory effects of celecoxib on proliferation of humanhepatoma SMMC-7721 cells and gastric cancer SGC-7901 cells in vitro.
METHODS:The two carcinoma cells were cultured with celecoxib at variousconcentrations (0, 20, 40, 80, 160 and 320 mmol/L). Growth suppression wasdetected with MTT colorimetric assay, cell apoptotic alterations wereevaluated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and quantity of Cox-2was evaluated by cytochemical staining. ......
