    【Abstract】 Objective To compare the efficacy in lowering blood pressure(BP)of the nitredipine and captoˉpril，being used single or/and combination.Methods To use double-blind，parallel and monitoring study.The study objects are the community patient who need treatment of antihypertesion.According to administration they are divided into5groups，or①captopril group.②nitredipine group.③nitredipine+captopril group.④nitredipine+diuretic proup.⑤captopril+diuretic group.The comparative indexs are the maintaining value of BP，the value of lowering BP，the ratio of control，and the ratio of lowering BP.Results The value of lowering BP，and ratio of lowering BP are sigˉnificant difference among groups(P<0.05)。Conclusion The efficacy of combined administration in lowering BP was relatively better.nitredipine+diuretic group was bettr than other.
