【摘要】 目的 调查研究玻璃体切割手术病人流行病学的状况。 方法 对我院2001～2003年间1751例行玻璃体切割手术的病人进行回顾性分析，了解玻璃体切割手术病人的适应证及其流行病学情况。 结果 2001～2003年3年间玻璃体切割手术适应证分布没有太大的变化，仍以眼外伤和复杂性视网膜脱离为主，分别为30.7%和28.7%。年龄分布以青壮年占多数，性别以男性为主，职业以农民、工人等体力劳动者多见。但老年人也不可忽视。 结论 玻璃体切割手术是目前治疗眼后段疾病的一种重要有效的方法，而选择适当的手术时机和手术方式是保证手术效果的关键所在。
