Abstract：Recentprogress in the mouse genome and technology for gene manipulations have led to thegeneration of a range of genetic mouse lines with identified cardiac phenotype.Of these，over 20 mouse lines have been developed with targeted genes coding for b- or a-adrenergicreceptors(AR)， components of adrenergic signaling transduction pathways andpresynaptic factors which modulate synthesis and release of catecholamines .Meanwhilethere has been significant progress in the mouse cardiophysiology and miniaturization inmethods for in vivo functional assessment.In recent years ......
