摘要 目的: 探讨可溶性细胞间粘附分子(sICAM-1)和转化生长因子-β1 (TGF-β1 )在多发性硬化(MS)发生、发展中的作用。方法: 采用ELISA方法,测定了30例MS患者血清中sICAM-1和TGF-β1 的水平。结果: 与对照组和NIND组相比,MS患者血清TGF-β1 水平明显下降(P<0.01),而sICAM-1水平则明显升高(P<0.01)。动态观察显示,随着病情的好转,TGF-β1 水平逐渐升高,而sICAM-1水平则逐渐下降。MS患者头MRI上病灶越大,sICAM-1水平升高也越明显。结论: 血清TGF-β1 和sICAM-1的检测对判断MS患者的病情变化具有重要的临床实用价值。
Determining SolubleIntercellular Adhesion Molecule-1 and Transforming Growth Factor-β 1 in Serum from Multiple Sclerosis

ABSTRACT Objective: Wewere to explore the effects of soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1) andtransforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1 ) on the development ofmultiple sclerosis (MS). Methods: Levels of sICAM-1 and TGF-β1 in serum were measured in 30 patients with MS by ELISA method. Results: The level of TGF-β1 decreased, and the level of sICAM-1 increasedsignificantly in the serum of MS, as compared with those in normal and non-inflammatoryneurologic disease (NIND) groups (P<0.01). The level of sICAM-1 decreased, and the TGF-β1 levels increased after treatment of MS. The larger the sizes of foci in MRI were, the moreobviously, the level of sICAM-1 increased. Conclusion: Measuring serumsICAM-1 and TGF-β1 might be important parameters for clinical evaluation inpatients with MS.
