【摘要】 目的 探讨血管内皮生长因子(vascular endothelial growth factor, VEGF)在胃癌中的表达及其与血管生成、细胞增殖关系。方法 应用免疫组织化学法检测50例胃癌标本的VEGF表达情况。结果 VEGF表达与胃癌转移及术后早期复发有关。淋巴结转移组和无转移组VEGF阳性率分别为70.59%和31.25%，两组差异有极显著性(P<0.01)。肿瘤浸润达浆膜组和未达浆膜组VEGF阳性率分别为65.80%及33.33%，差异有显著性(P<0.05)。结论 检测VEGF表达可作为胃癌的预后指标，有助于对术后病人放、化疗的选择提供依据。

The expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and its relationship with neovascularization and tumor cell proliferation in gastric cancer

【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in gastric carcinomas and its relationship with angiogenesis and tumor cell proliferation.Methods The expression of VEGF was detected by immunohistochemistry assay.Results The expression of VEGF was related with metastasis of gastric carcinomas and early relapse after operation. The positive rate in lymph node metastasis group and non-metastasis group was 70.59 % and 31.25 % respectively with the difference being significant (P<0.01). The positive rate was 65.80 % in tumors that invaded or penetrated the serosa and 33.33 % in tumors that did not invaded the serosa with the difference being significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Examination of VEGF expression can help to select the patients who need chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and may be as an indicator of prognosis.
