【摘要】 目的 探讨过氧钒烟酸(POV)的降血糖作用的分子生物学机制。方法 选用SD大鼠用链脲佐菌素诱导产生糖尿病鼠动物模型,观察用POV和美迪康(Met)治疗后各组大鼠血、尿糖水平及血肝细胞质中苯丙氨酸羟化酶(PAH)活性改变情况,并进行比较。结果 糖尿病鼠PAH活性明显增高,用POV治疗4周后活性受到抑制,血糖水平明显下降,临床症状得以改善。结论 POV的降糖作用优于美迪康,且未见明显毒副作用。

【Abstract】 Objective Toinvestigate into the molecular biological mechanism of hypoglycemic effect of peroxovanadate-nicotinic acid (POV) on diabetic rats. Methods The streptozotocin-induced diabetic SD rats were selected as theanimal model. The blood and urine glucose levels as well as liver plasma phenylalaninehydroxylase (PAH) activity were observed in all groups of rats after POV and metformintreatment. Results PAH activity inthe diabetic rats was obviously increased. After POV treatment for 4 weeks, PAH activitywas inhibited, blood glucose level is decreased markedly and the clinical symptoms wereimproved. Conclusion The POV hadbetter effect than metformin in decreasing hyperglycemia and side effects had not beenobserved.
