    Abstract:AIM To study the effects of brucea javanica oil emulsion intravesical instillation for the treatment of bladder carcinoma.METHODS Intravesical instillation of100g·L-1 brucea javanica oil emulsion or0.4g·L-1 mitomycin C for the ICR mice with bladder carcinoma respectively，once a week，10times later the2groups of mice were sacrificed for morphological study under the light and electron microscopy level.RESULTS The cells in the2groups showed no clear distinction of heterogeniety，and the migration from epitheli-um to carcinoma reduced，and in the cells with brucea javani-ca oil emulsion had vacuole in the cytoplasma.CONCLU┐SION The anticarcinoma effects of brucea javanica oil and Mytomycin C are similar.
