Professor Yao Meng et al. of the department of orthopedics of the second affiliated hospital of Harbin Medical University treated 326 cases of lumbago and leg pain caused by pathologic changes of the posterior branch of lumbar nerve using their self designed radio-frequency heat coagulation machine of intelligence capacity, without injuring the normal tissue. Therefore, the side effects of radio-frequency coagulation can be avoided when the inactivation is performed for a single branch.
