The Hubei Medical Care Group was established in Yichang, Hubei recently. This group, headed by the People's Hospital of Hubei province, was build jointly by the central hospital of Yichang municipality and the other 16 hospitals of the third A grade. The establishment of this medical care group signifies the formation of cooperated medical organizations covering the total provincial area.
Administration and technology served as the link of thisgroup which stood as a cooperative organization of an open pattern; members of the group were independent and a board of directors was set up for the constitution and coordination of the internal affairs.
As was recommended by Dr. Huang Congxin, director of the People's Hospital of Hubei province, that the establishment of this medical bloc was a new trial for accelerating rapid development of the hospitals through out the province following the entry of China into WTO. This hospital association of the open type distinguished itself by the characteristics of complementing their superiorities, sharing their resources, communication via the internet and highly efficient utilization. This efficient group is advantageous for the reasonable distribution of the equipments of the medical resources throughout the whole province, for providing the best service to the patients, effectively decreasing the cost of medical service, and to the maximum extent relieving the patient's burden of medical expense., 百拇医药
