     Effects of various loading positions on stress distribution in implantbone interface

    【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate the effects of various loading positions on stress distribution in implantbone interface. METHODS: Threedimension finite element analysis method was used to analyze the stress distribution in implantbone interface. A force loading of 1.47 N was applied mesiodistally on the implant and the heights of loading positions were 4 mm, 7 mm and 10 mm to the cervix of the implant, respectively. RESULTS: The values of VonMises stress on the implant cervix were 0.3400 MPa, 0.5330 MPa, and 0.7310 MPa, respectively, and the values of displacement were 0.117 μm, 0.163 μm and 0.210 μm, respectively. CONCLUSION: Clinically, the height of loading position should be reduced as low as possible so as to reduce the stress concentration and peak value of stress in implantbone interface, to attain rational stress distribution and to decrease the displacement of bone interface. ......
