【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate the effects of various loading positions on stress distribution in implantbone interface. METHODS: Threedimension finite element analysis method was used to analyze the stress distribution in implantbone interface. A force loading of 1.47 N was applied mesiodistally on the implant and the heights of loading positions were 4 mm, 7 mm and 10 mm to the cervix of the implant, respectively. RESULTS: The values of VonMises stress on the implant cervix were 0.3400 MPa, 0.5330 MPa, and 0.7310 MPa, respectively, and the values of displacement were 0.117 μm, 0.163 μm and 0.210 μm, respectively. CONCLUSION: Clinically, the height of loading position should be reduced as low as possible so as to reduce the stress concentration and peak value of stress in implantbone interface, to attain rational stress distribution and to decrease the displacement of bone interface. ......
