     Effects of torque force load on stress distribution in implantbone interface

    【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate the effects of torque force load on the stress distribution in implantbone interface, so as to help the clinical selection of implant location. METHODS: Threedimension finite element analysis method was used to calculate and analyze the stress and displacement in implantbone interface, and a torque force of 1.47 N, with the moment of couple of 5 mm, was applied on the abutment 7 mm distant from implant neck. RESULTS: When torque force loads were applied, the peak values of VonMises stress on buccal side, lingual side and mesiodistal side of the implant neck were 0.624, 0.652, and 0.603 MPa, respectively, and the peak values of displacement were 0.066, 0.059 and 0.063 μm, respectively. CONCLUSION: The choice of buccal or lingual implant embedment depends on the form of orthodontic load, so as to avoid the pathological damage of bone tissue in implantbone interface caused by stress over concentration. ......
