新生儿缺氧缺血性脑病血清MBP、NSE变化的临床意义

     Changes of serum NSE and MBP in hypoxicischemic encephalopathy neonates and its clinical significance

    【Abstract】AIM: To explore the changes of serum neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and myelin base protein (MBP) levels in neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and to evaluate their significance for clinical diagnosis and gradation. METHODS: Thirtytwo neonates with hypoxicischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and twelve newborns were selected as cases and controls, respectively. The serum NSE levels were measured with radioimmunological methods. The MBP was assayed by ELISA and the activity of ALT, CK, LDH and αHBDH were assayed by reaction rate method in acute phase and convalescence phase, respectively. RESULTS: The NSE levels increased significantly in acute stage(P<005)and no difference was found in recovery stage between experimental and control groups(P>005). The MBP levels of the group of severe cases were much higher in acute stage than those of other groups (P<005) but there was no difference in recovery stage between experimental and control groups(P>005). CONCLUSION: The concentration of serum NSE can be used as an index for appraising the severity and gradation of HIE. ......
