    【Abstract】 AIM: To explore the feasibility of fixing the segment of C2 and C3 with anterior cervical platescrew system. METHODS: The superior inclination of the posterior edge of the anteroinferior lip (AIL) on sagittal plane (α),the inclination formed by the anterior edge and posterior edge of AIL on sagittal plane (β), the inclination formed by the two lateral boundary lines of the anteriorprotruded portion (APP) on coronal plane (γ), the height and width of AIL (HAIL and WAIL), the widest distance of APP (WMAX) and the vertical distance between WMAX line and the inferior point of AIL (HMAX) of 57 Chinese C2 vertebrae’s anterior column were measured using AutoCAD2000 software.
