    Abstract The essential oil from the aerial parts of Rabdosia macrocalyx was extracted by hydrodistillation method.

    The oil obtained was analyzed by gas chromatographyP mass spectrometry ( GC2MS) . More than 116 peaks were

    separated and sixty compounds representing 75. 77 % of the oil were identified.
