Abstract The charge2transfer (CT) reaction between chloranilic acid and water in alcohol was studied by
spectrophotometric method and the condition of reaction was determined. The product of reaction has maximum
absorption at 530 nm. Beer′ s law was conformed in the range of 0 %~8. 0 %( VP V) in methanol and 0 %~6. 0 %
( VP V) in other alcohols. The limit of determination is 0. 13 %( VP V) with the relative standard deviation less than ......
