     Influence of technologic parameter matching on laser solid forming properties of TiZr alloy for oral prosthesis

    【Abstract】 AIM: To find relatively proper technologic parameter matching by evaluating its influence on laser solid forming properties of TiZr alloy powder. METHODS: Single cladding test under different technologic parameter matching was carried out by orthogonal design method and the single cladding height (H) and the single cladding width (W) were measured to find the suitable technologic parameter matching. The microstructure of TiZr alloy formed under this suitable technologic parameter matching was analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). RESULTS: When the ratio of laser power to facular diameter was 2.7 kW/3 mm, the powder feeding speed was 90 r/min and the moving speed of numerical control machine was 5 mm/s, better H (826.61 μm) and W (3504.61 μm) were obtained. The SEM photograph showed that directional solidification cladding layer with thin and dense columnar dendrites was acquired. CONCLUSION: Under proper technological control, dental TiZr alloy powder is a new material for laser solid forming. ......
