     Analysis of Kscale in adjusting values of Pt and Sc scales in MMPI215

    【Abstract】 AIM: To study the significance of introduction of K correction in Pt and Sc scales of MMPI215 test. METHODS: We tested 11147 candidates of conscription age all over the country by MMPI215. RESULTS: ① R values between suspected mental disorder and normal groups Pt and Sc scales with and without K correction were higher. ② T scores of suspected mental disorder groups Pt and Sc scales with and without K correction had no significant differences (P>0.05)and T scores of normal group Pt and Sc scales with and without K correction had significant differences (P<0.05). ③ Negative and positive candidates had no significant differences (P>0.05)with and without K correction in suspected mental disorder group. CONCLUSION: It is of little significance to introduce K correction into Pt and Sc scales of MMPI215 test, especially when candidates are adolescents. ......
