Digit span test performed with paper and pencil in groups

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To change digit span test in Wechsler Intelligence Scale from individual test to group test. METHODS: The test form of digit span was changed from oral test to paperª²pencil test. In order to ensure the standardization of answer time, the action of uniform pencilª²lifting with the emergence of digits was added into test program. The total of subjects was 884. RESULTS: The testª²retest coefficient was 0.658, and the correlation between group test and individual test was 0.581. There was a significant correlation between the group test and other subª²tests of other intelligence scales such as number series, words test, calculation test, spatial ability test, tap speed test and drawing circle test. The scores of the 2 groups with different education level were significantly different (P<0.01). CONCLUSION: It is feasible to change the digit span test in Wechsler Intelligence Scale from individual test to group test. ......
