     Effect of PDGFAB on contraction of human normal skin and hypertrophic scar fibroblastpopulated collagen lattice

    【Abstract】 AIM: To study the effect of PDGFAB on the contraction of human normal skin and hypertrophic scar fibroblastpopulated collagen lattice and to investigate the mechanism by which PDGFAB promotes wound healing and the effect of PDGFAB in scar forming. METHODS: In vitro cultured human normal skin and hypertrophic scar fibroblasts (NsFb, HTsFb) were applied to measure the effect of PDGFAB on the contraction of FPLC. RESULTS: PDGFAB increased the contraction of NsFb and HTsFbpopulated collagen lattice in a dose dependent manner, but it had stronger effects on HTsFbpopulated collagen lattice. CONCLUSION: PDGFAB may promote wound healing by stimulating the wound contraction, and PDGFAB may also play some important roles in scar contracture. ......
