    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To establish a quality standard of Tongluo Quebi Pill (TQP). METHODS: Thin layer chromatography was used to identify the content of Radix Aconiti Preparata, Radix Notoginseng and Radix Angelicae Sinensis, and second derivative spectrometry was used for the determination of aconitine in TQP. RESULTS: The positions of the spots of the three experimental samples were the same as those of the control sample, respectively. The calibration curve for aconitine was linear within the range of 0.04-0.26 g/L (r=0.9994), the average recovery rate of aconitine was 99.4% and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was 1.20%. CONCLUSION: The method employed in this study is simple, accurate and can be used in quality control of TQP. ......
