Epidemiological survey on dental caries among children fromNanjing railway kindergardens

Abstract:Objective To investigate the risk factors of dental caries.Methods According to the questionnaire of na-tional epidemiology investigation on mouth heath，378children from2kindergardens in Nanjing railway bureau were collected and examined by stomatologic physicians with more than3years of working experience.The data were analyzed by Chi-square test.Result The children who liked to eat sweet food and had disarranged teeth were easily to suffer from dental caries.Conclusion The results of investigation support the recognized four-related-factors theory regarding dental caries.The govern-ment and whole society should pay more attention to the prevention of tooth decay.
