     Relationship between dynamic pulmonary function and aging in elderly people

    【Abstract】 AIM: To study the change of dynamic pulmonary function with the increase of age in the elderly people over 60 and its mechanism.METHODS: All the indexes of dynamic pulmonary function in the old people over 60 were detected and analyzed by PM81 chest scanning apparatus made in Japan.RESULTS: All the indexes of dynamic pulmonary function declined significantly with the increase of age in the people over 60 (P<001).CONCLUSION: The dynamic pulmonary function in the people over 60 declines with the increase of age.The falling function of the respiratory centre,the elastic resistance of the lungs and thoracic cage,and the nonelastic resistance in the respiratory tract are responsible for the decline. ......
