Study of hepatic sectional anatomy in digitized virtual Chinese human female number 1 database

    ¡¾Abstract¡¿ AIM: To study the morphological features of the hepatic sectional anatomy of digitized virtual human database.METHODS: Sectional anatomic structures of liver were observed and analyzed on the whole series of hepatic images taken from the digitized virtual Chinese human female number 1 (VCHª²F1) database.RESULTS: The VCHª²F1 database contained 875 serial hepatic images without any loss of data,each with the slice thickness of 0ª±2 mm,a resolution of 30242016 pixels and 17ª±5 MB in size,and the total hepatic database was 14ª±2 GB in volume.The hepatic anatomic structures,including the hepatic artery,the hepatic vein,the portal vein,the bile duct and the cholecyst,were observed clearly via relevant images.CONCLUSION: The image information of the liver parenchyma,the hepatic veins,the hepatic artery,the bile duct and the cholecyst displayed on the series of sectional images of liver from the VCHª²F1 database is clear and complete. ......
