【摘要】 近年在全球范围内已先后发现了30多种新发传染病，以SARS和禽流感为代表的新发传染病严重威胁人类的健康，影响社会的稳定和发展，引起了各国政府的极大关注。面临各种新发传染病时应当采取何种应对策略已经成为了一个不可避免的问题，有必要进一步去探索。本文对新发传染病的概念和特点进行了探讨、对世界各国近年来应对新发传染病的策略和措施进行综述，并提出我国应该如何应对新发传染病的建议。
