     Expression of cmyc in mouse preimplantation embryos

    【Abstract】 AIM: To investigate the expression of c-myc gene in mouse preimplantation embryos. METHODS: In situ hybridization and Immunohistochemical staining (ABC method) were used to detect cmyc mRNA and cmyc protein, espectively. RESULTS: cmyc mRNA and cmyc protein were found in 2cell, 4cell, 6cell, 8cell and blastsyst stages of mouse preimplantation embryos. The positive staining substance was distributed in cytoplasm and nucleus. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that cmyc gene is expressed in mouse preimplantation embryos and may have an essential role in mouse early embryonic development. ......
