[摘 要] 目的 揭示摩托车交通事故的特点及规律。方法 运用本所研制的“交通事故调查分析软件系统”及统计软件对重庆市10年摩托车交通事故资料进行分析。结果 424%摩托车事故发生在夏季，但每月及每周中事故发生率无明显变化。 985%摩托车事故是由男性驾驶员造成，且808%驾驶员处于20至40岁之间。 事故中驾驶员多见重伤，乘客多见轻伤。 天气与道路情况等环境因素对摩托车事故的发生有影响。 844%的事故驾驶员驾驶年限不足一年。 多车事故中，摩托车驾驶员以无责和次要责任为主。结论 重庆市摩托车交通事故多发于夏季；事故摩托车驾驶员多为驾龄不足一年的青年男性；驾驶员、乘客和行人伤情特点各不同；大部分事故原因与摩托车有关，但在多车事故中，有一半以上是因其他车辆原因所致。[关键词] 道路交通事故；摩托车；交通伤
