    Stranglehold Pushed Back to 2007

    《勒颈》延期至2007年推出

    Recently, a possible delay was reported for Midway's premiere next-gen title for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, Stranglehold. Online retailer GameStop suggested that the game sequel to John Woo and Chow Yun-Fat's classic action flick Hard-Boiled wouldn't be arriving until February 15, 2007. At the time, a Midway rep said that the company was still aiming for "a fall or December 2006" release for Stranglehold on all three platforms. It turns out Midway's aim was off the mark. The company has confirmed that Stranglehold has indeed been delayed. However, the mid-February date GameStop posited was a little too specific, as Midway is only saying that it will be out in the first quarter of 2007.

    Medal of Honor Enlists for PSP《荣誉勋章》登陆PSP

    Electronic Arts announced that its prolific World War II franchise, Medal of Honor, is gathering up some new troops. The publisher is sending the series off to fight battles on the PlayStation Portable with Medal of Honor Heroes, which is being developed by EA Canada and deploys in time for Christmas. The game will be exclusive to the PSP and feature an all-new storyline with three campaigns. Veterans of the series will recognize several familiar faces in the game, as Heroes will be played from the perspective of characters from past MoH games, such as Lt. Jimmy Patterson (Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor Frontline) and Lt. William Holt (Medal of Honor: European Assault). There will also be 20 additional characters to unlock.

    Ubisoft Promises Seven for Wii Launch育碧允诺七款作品应对Wii首发

    Ubisoft has revealed exactly how prepared it is for the Wii's launch - the publisher has seven launch titles prepped for the Wii's first day in stores. Previously, Ubisoft only revealed that Red Steel and Rayman Raving Rabbids would be available at launch. In comparison, the most prolific publisher for the Xbox 360's launch was Electronic Arts, who boasted five games. Blazing Angels lands on the Wii after battling it out on the Xbox 360, Xbox, and the PC earlier this year. A game based on the Far Cry franchise will allow Wii owners to control hero Jack Carver with the Wii-mote. Also confirmed was a Wii version of Open Season, based on the movie of the same name, which also hits several other platforms.
