[摘要] 邵逸夫医院呼吸治疗科是1994年在医院建院之初由美国罗马林达大学医学中心指导帮助下建立而成。本文总结了医院呼吸治疗的组织管理形式，介绍了医院呼吸治疗专业构建模式及十余年来呼吸治疗工作的实践体会，同时通过对呼吸治疗专业国内外现状分析，阐述了呼吸治疗在医院工作中的作用以及今后发展方向。

    Practice and experience in setting up respiratory care department in China

    [Abstract] Respiratory Care Department in Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, was set up under the direction of Loma Linda University Medical Center USA in 1994. This article introduced the structure of the department and the experience of professional practice in respiratory care in more than 10 years，analyzed the status of respiratory care in and out of the country, and set forth the function of respiratory care in hospital and the development in future.
