    ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To study pharmacokinetic characteristics ciprol in pregnant and fetal rats，and provide reference for application ciprol in cesarean section. ETHODS Eight pregnant rats were selected. A single dose 2.4 mg/kg ciprol was administered via tail vein. One fetal rat was selected at 2，4，8，12，16，25，35，45，60，and 90 minutes respectively after ciprol administration. Subsequently，whole blood samples were collected simultaneously from both pregnant rats and fetal rats. HPLC-S/S method was used to determine concentration ciprol in bodies pregnant and fetal rats. The ratios fetal-to-maternal blood concentrations( ratios)at each time point were calculated，and F/Ω -time curves were plotted. Subsequently， non-compartmental pharmacokinetic parameters were computed using DAS 2.0 stware.
