In February of 2003, Studio Daniel Liebeskind was chosen to be the lead architects for rebuilding on the World Trade Center site. Opinions as to what should be reconstructed on the site are largely divided. While some would prefer to build another skyscraper, others strongly oppose this and would rather have a peaceful memorial space set up at Ground Zero.
