    About a year ago, a Japanese friend of mine wasgoing back to Osaka to visit her parents for a few weeks. "Is there anything you'd like me to bring for you guys?" she asked us. Almost in unison, my flatmate and I replied "spray-on deodorant!"And sure enough, she did. I guess it might havebeen weird if she'd had her luggage searched on the way back. The customs guys would have been wondering why a girl was travelling with a suitcasehalf full of men's deodorant.
