"Matching the liner to the natural shade of your mouth will prevent a dark and ghoulish ring from forming as the gloss wears away," Jimmy says. Follow with a waxy balm to create a smooth, waterresistant base beneath your gloss (a traditional rose or beeswax formula, whether it's from a pot or stick, is the right consistency). And though all lip gloss is ephemeral by nature, makeup artist Mao Geping believes there is a way to determine a formula's longevity: "The slicker and smoother it is, the faster it will probably disappear" - a principle that applies just as easily to men. ......
