This old lady was seen in Jokhang Temple. She possessed skin of a remarkable colour and there was an almost sliver sheen to her hair. All the time she chanted a prayer; this was partly about fulfilling one's dreams in Lhasa and having no regrets.

    The brightly coloured prayer flags blow high in the wind against a background of blue sky mottled by cloud, and the desert like terrain beneath. The crystal clear mountain air accentuates the colours of the flags, upon which prayers are transcribed. The movement of the flags in the mountain air is said to aid in carrying the prayers up to the heavens.
