    We got into the water when the tide was going down, somewhere between the high and low. It was the best time for snorkeling, since the visibility at high tide is not good enough and the water is too shallow at low tide. After a deep breath I jumped into this other world, or "inner space" as it has been described by legendary diver and explorer Jacques Cousteau. This time I was relaxed, and managed to stay that way. The water refracted the sunlight in different directions; the play of sunlight brightening the colors of the water and creatures in it. Little fish came to tenderly nibble my ankles while we were swimming along in schools of beautiful and colorful fish in the crystal clear water. The coral is all very differently shaped, some looked like huge brains, some were like deer horns and some were like hairy round balls in different colors. It felt like we were flying among these alien looking but pretty things, looking down to the deep trench, fascinated by the daily life of these ocean creatures. Being in this silent world alone with them blocked out everything else and the outside world faded away. A little round, stripy-blue fish slowly wiggled its way right in front of my face, with black wide-open eyes and naturally pursed mouth, as if he didn't notice there was a big monster watching him. ......
