    Cruising on the ocean offers many exciting, beautiful and sometimes frightening experiences. For me, a city girl on my first long cruise, I expected to enjoy the experience of life onboard a yacht: Lots of beautiful fish and coral, cloudless blue skies, the romance of stars and moonlit nights. Of course I had some worries too: Getting seasick, encountering a storm, being bitten by a poisonous fish or facing sharks or crocodiles(salt water crocodiles in Australia)in the water. I knew already that the ocean can be an unpredictable force. And the unpredictable is always exciting and scary at the same time.
