学生的热情源于想在奥运会上奉献自己的力量。这个班级的学生有的年轻有的年长。根据我的经验，年长学生对英语的熟悉程度不及年轻学生。我认为这有历史方面的原因，在邓小平为中国所做的转变之后，中国开放了，更多的人开始学习英语。而老一辈则将俄语做为自己的第二语言。我经常说老一辈中国人会好奇地盯着新事物比如外国人的蓝眼睛或者Mp3，中年人会好一些，他们努力工作去买车或者Mp3一类的东西，而随着时光流逝，他们的孩子则完全在一个不同的环境下长大。孩子们熟悉网络和Mp3，不像老一辈那样对此感觉如此惊奇。他们从小就开始学习英语所以英语比老一辈好很多。

    We cover pretty much everything in class - oral, reading, speaking, and written English. This is a pretty general course. BOCOG and EF have worked really well together. BOCOG has allowed us to work with the students and cooperate to make sure that we are best-suited to improve the students' English language abilities in any way they need, whether it be in reading, writing, or oral English. My students also keep journals.
