With the Democrats having achieved a majority in both houses of Congress this year, intensifying partisanship in American politics also has many Americans concerned about whether the nation's leaders are not too divided to effectively tackle the problems that lay ahead. In the face of such extraordinary responsibilities amidst such a delicate political environment, it is certain that America's next President will have to be as astute as he is resilient.
